Gingerism

    The prejudice against redheads has been documented since before the middle ages where redheads were burned at the stake for witchcraft.     Redheaded men and women are made fun of from the time they can understand that they are different. Red-haired women are sexually harassed from puberty on with the vulgar comments about the color of their pubic hair.
    This "gingerism" is largely ignored and undocumented until recently, as England is legendary for their ginger hatred, and it's been in the news.

    The most common stereotypes of redheads are their tempers and insanity, if you ask me, after years and years of bullying and being ostracized would make anyone have a temper or go insane. 
    We aren't a recognized as a minority by any government with any form of law, we're a rogue minority living amongst the FAKE minorities, just taking bullshit from everyone who gives it.
    We make up less than 2% of the planet, but aren't recognised as a minority like latinos or african americans. I get more looks and judgements on a regualr basis than any black, yellow, brown, or white person would ever accept.
    Why? Why do i as a redhead have to deal with this prejudice and societal misunderstanding? I am a funtional adult, just because I have red hair doesn't mean i was born with a hot temper, one developed over time for being made fun of throughout school and life.

    Personally I've gone on three dates where men had told me that their mother's had red hair, and I just turned off.

    It's no wonder the tribes of my people migrated north to the almost uninhabitable land where the meade was plentiful, and bruitality was a way of life.
